Transferring business tasks from Continuous Access XP secondary sites to primary sites (in 3DC
cascading configurations)
If you follow the instructions in ”
Recovering from primary site failures
” on page 66 and the system changes
to a 3DC cascading configuration, you can transfer the business tasks back to the primary site after
removing failures from the primary site and other locations.
To transfer the business tasks back to the primary sites:
1.
Stop the business tasks at the Continuous Access XP Synchronous secondary site.
2.
Use RAID Manager to execute the
horctakeover
command on the Continuous Access XP
Synchronous pair. The system configuration returns to a 3DC multi-target configuration.
