3-2-3-3 Disk Daily Alerts

The Disk Daily Alerts displays the disk alert definitions set by the user. It has the following fields:

 Disk – name of disk
 Run Days – days at which alert should be checked. At least one day should be selected.
 Enabled – flag indicating whether alert should be checked or not
 Used % – threshold value for the used % of the disk; if used % is equal or greater than this

value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 Daily Growth – threshold value for the daily growth (GB) of the disk; if daily growth is equal or

greater than this value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 Days to 90% – threshold value for the days to 90% of the disk; if days to 90% is equal or less

than this value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 Days to 100% – threshold value for the days to 100% of the disk; if days to 100% is equal or

less than this value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 Free Ext. – threshold value for the free extents of the disk; if free extents is equal or greater than

this value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 Index Level – threshold value for the index level of files in the disk; if index level is equal or

greater than this value, alert is generated;

is also shown beside threshold value

 New PROGID File – notification if the disk has a new PROGID’d file; if there is a new PROGID’d

file, alert notification is generated;

is also shown.

 New Lic. File – notification if the disk has a new licensed file; if there is a new licensed file, alert

notification is generated;

 Corrupt File – notification if the disk has a corrupt file; if there is a corrupt file, alert notification is

generated;

 Files over 90 – notification if the disk has a file that is 90%-99% full; if there is a file that is over

90% full, alert notification is generated;

 Full Files – notification if the disk has a file that is full(100% used) ; if there is a file that is full,

alert notification is generated;

By default, i.e. during Storage Analyzer installation, disk alert is automatically set for all the Disks
with the following criteria:

a) Disk = All Disks

b) Run Days = Sun, Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat

c) Enabled = Yes

d) Used % = 90.0
