1.

Ensure that you are in Modify mode.

Note: If you are in View mode, you will be unable to finish this procedure.

In the Data Retention window (

Figure 1

on page 15), locate a LUSE volume.

To locate a LUSE volume, look at the Emulation column of the volume list. If the volume is a LUSE
volume, an asterisk (*) and a number appear to the right of the emulation type. For example,
OPEN-V*3 indicates a LUSE volume consisting of three OPEN-V volumes.

Select and right-click the LUSE volume. Next, select Volume Detail from the pop-up menu.

on page 26) appears. This dialog box displays all the

volumes combined into the same LUSE volume.

4.

View the dialog box contents and then click OK to close the dialog box.

on page 26) enables you to view a list of volumes combined

into a LUSE volume. For detailed information about LUSE volumes, see the HP StorageWorks

The Volume Detail dialog box displays the following items:

LDKC:CU:LDEV: This column lists the LDKC number, CU number, and LDEV number (volume number)
of volumes combined into a LUSE volume.

S-VOL: This column indicates whether each volume can be specified as a copy destination volume
(that is, a secondary volume) for storage system copy operations. Enable appears if the volume
can be specified as a copy destination volume. Disable appears if the volume cannot be specified
as a copy destination volume.

Close: This button closes the Volume Detail dialog box.
