Supported Tape Drives

The tape library can accommodate from 1 to 14 tape drives. The LTO generation 3

tape drives (N1523A and M8504) supports Ultrium 3 media, Ultrium 2 media, and

Ultrium 1 media (read only). The LTO generation 4 tape drive (M8607A) supports

Ultrium 4 media, Ultrium 3 media, and Ultrium 2 media (read only).
