NOTE:

NOTE:

To run these utilities from a command line using Windows Server®, you must either

change directories to the directory that contains them (by default, C:\Program Files\HP IO

Accelerator\Utils) or add that directory to your system path. See the documentation for

your Windows® version for information about adding a directory to the system path.

NOTE:

The command-line utilities require administrator rights to run under Windows® operating

systems. Right-click the Command Prompt menu item and select Run as administrator.

fio-attach

Description
Attaches the IO Accelerator device and makes it available to Windows® operating systems. You can then

partition the IO Accelerator device, or set it up as part of a RAID array, using the Windows® Disk

Management utility. This command displays a progress bar and percentage as it completes the attach
process.
In most cases, the driver automatically attaches the device when loading and does a scan. You only need to
run fio-attach if you ran fio-detach or if you set the auto_attach parameter to 0.
