7. Lift the PCI riser cage to unseat the riser boards.
Install the PCI riser cage
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the server or expansion boards, power down the server, and
disconnect all power cords before removing or installing the PCI riser cage.
1. Align the PCI riser boards with the corresponding connectors on the system board, and then press down
the PCI riser cage.
2. Push down the release tabs, and then rotate them 180° clockwise.
3. Install the access panel (on page 19 ).
4. Install the server into the rack (" Installing the server into the rack " on page 26 ).
5. Power up the server (on page 16 ).
