Select an HBA

from the upper-left tree and select a Performance Control group from the lower-

left tree. Next, click Add WWN.
Repeat this operation until all the HBAs you want are added to the Performance Control group.

NOTE:

• Select an HBA from below Monitor. You cannot add HBAs from below Non-Monitor to Per-

formance Control groups.

• If you select an HBA that is already contained in a Performance Control group from the upper-

left tree, the Add WWN button IS NOT activated. Select an HBA that is not contained in any
Performance Control group.

• Windows users can add an HBA to a Performance Control group by dragging the HBA to

the Performance Control group.

7.

Click Apply.
The settings in the window are applied to the storage system.

Deleting an HBA from a Performance Control Group

To delete an HBA from the Performance Control group, take the following steps.

1.

Start XP Performance Control (see

Starting XP Performance Control

” on page 32).

The Performance Control window is displayed.

2.

Click the WWN tab (

Figure 4

on page 20).

3.

In the lower-left tree, double-click the Performance Control group (

) that contains the HBA to

be deleted.

4.

Below the Performance Control icon, right-click the icon the HBA (

) you want to delete.

5.

Select Delete WWN from the pop-up menu.
The selected HBA icon is deleted from the tree.

6.

Click Apply.
The settings on the window are applied to the storage system.

Switching Priority of a Performance Control Group

All the HBAs in one Performance Control group must be of the same priority. Prioritized WWNs (that
is, high-priority HBAs) and non-prioritized WWNs (that is, low-priority HBAs) cannot be mixed in one
Performance Control group.
