Commands

The Command Line Interface commands are described below.

config

Changes the prompt to the CLI

config

branch.

config

config cli delete

Deletes the specified user.

config cli delete <username>

config cli info

Shows all current CLI settings at this level.

config cli info

config cli login-attempts

Specifies the maximum allowable number of failed login attempts
before closing the connection.

config cli login-attempts <tries>

where

tries

is a number from 1 to 30.

config cli more

Sets scrolling of the output display to one page at a time or to
continuous display.

config cli more [enable | disable]

where:

enable

allows you to scroll one page at a time.

disable

results in continuous scrolling.

config cli port

NOTE: If you are logged in
using telnet, do not use this
command. Doing so will
change the port parameters
and you will be
disconnected.

Specifies the telnet port on which the CLI runs.

config cli port <port>

where

port

is a valid port. Valid ports are port 23 (the default) or

any unused port between 1024 and 65535.
