Power-on problems flowchart

Symptoms:

• The server does not power on.
• The system power LED is off or amber.
• The internal health LED is red or amber.

Possible causes:

• Improperly seated or faulty power supply
• Loose or faulty power cord
• Power supply cord improperly seated to system board
• Power source problem
• Power on circuit problem
• Improperly seated component or interlock problem
• Faulty internal component
