7.2.6 AP SINR View

This view displays the signal-to-interference-and-noise ratio (SINR) values at different areas on the layout. SINR is the ratio of
the received signal to the amount of interference and ambient noise at a given location on the layout. SINR determines the
maximum date rate or the link speed feasible at a given point on the layout. If SINR is poor, see the

AP Interference View

to

determine if the amount of interference is the limiting factor.
The SINR levels are color-coded. The color palette shows five levels of SINR values: Very Poor, Poor, Moderate, Good, and
Excellent.
