4.9.1.2 Creating a Recovery Manager Configuration File using the GUI
on the Backup Host
To use the Recovery Manager GUI to create a Recovery Manager configuration file without
Remote Copy support:
1 Start the Recovery Manager GUI on the backup host.
a Ensure the X11 server is running on the destination host where the GUI is displayed. If
the X11 server is not running, issue the following command:
b Ensure the DISPLAY environment variable is set.
c Start the Recovery Manager GUI.
