4.2.5 Setting Up a CLI Connection from the Primary Host to the InServ

Storage Server

Set up a CLI connection from the primary host to the InServ Storage Server as follows:

On the primary host, set the environment variables as follows:

where:

<ss_name>

is the system name of the InServ Storage Server attached to the primary

host.

<ss_pwfile>

is the location for the InServ Storage Server user password file.

On the primary host, create a CLI user as follows:

where

<username>

is the name of the user being created.

On the primary host, create a storage server user password file as follows:

where <username> is the username you created in

step 2

#TPDPWFILE=<ss_pwfile>

NOTE: Before creating a CLI user, refer to the InForm OS CLI Administrator’s

Manual for a list of reserved user names.
