The Storage System mapping list shows all the credentials that are currently defined. The fields are
as follows:

Storage System Name -- Name of the registered HP 3PAR Storage System.

Storage System ID -- HP 3PAR Storage System ID or Storage System ID.

Storage System User -- Storage System User Name.

Windows User -- Windows user who created the Storage System credential.

To add a mapping:
1.

Click Add.

The Map Registered HP 3PAR Storage System Credential dialog appears.

2.

Choose the appropriate entry from the list, then click OK.

If a Storage System ID has already been mapped on the mapping list, the adding dialog filters
out any registered entry that has the same Storage System ID.

You also have the option of removing a credential mapping by selecting an entry from the list
and choosing the Remove button. You can only remove one entry at a time. Confirmation is
requested before the removal is performed.

If you encounter a problem when working with credentials, see

“Troubleshooting for VASA”

(page 92)

for explanations of the various error codes.

NOTE:

If the changes to Storage System mapping list contains hosts that vCenter is currently

monitoring, the existing VASA session associated with the vCenter is invalidated.

Storage System Credential Tab

The Storage System Credential tab allows you to add, remove and validate Storage System
credentials associated with a specific Windows login account as shown in (
