6 In the HP DeskJet Mac Installer dialog box, click Install .
After a few moments, the Installer begins to install the printer software. A status
box keeps you informed of progress during installation.
7 When you see a message reporting that installation was successful, click
Restart .
The Installer restarts your computer.
Installation Troubleshooting
If the Installer can’t complete the installation, it displays a warning message. Here
are some ways to fix common problems:
• You may not have the correct hardware or system software for this printer. If so,
the Installer will tell you what you’re missing.
• You may have forgotten to turn off your virus-detection software as described
in the section “Install Printer Software” on page 2.
Note: If you are unwilling to accept the terms of the agreement, click
Decline. If you click Decline, the Install program exits.
