TROUBLESHOOTING

Iron does not

heat up.

• The power plug (13) is not

connected properly to the

wall outlet or the circuit

breaker may be tripped.

• The temperature

control (5) is set to off.

• The auto shut-off function

has been activated.

• Re-connect the power

plug (13) properly to the

wall outlet or check the

circuit breaker.

• Set the temperature

control (5) to the desired

temperature.

• Tilt the iron down and back

to restart the iron.

Water leaks out

of the iron.

• The water reservoir (12) is

overfilled.

• The set temperature has

not been reached or is

too low.

• Pour out some water.

• Allow sufficient time for

the iron to preheat or set

higher temperature.

Iron does not

produce steam.

• Water level in the water

reservoir (12) is too low.

• The set temperature has

not been reached.

• The function control (4)

is not set to the steam

ironing position.

• Anti-drip function shuts

off steam when the

temperature setting is

too low.

• Add water in the water

reservoir (12).

• Allow sufficient time for

the iron to heat up.

• Set the function control (4)

to the steam ironing

position.

• Set temperature higher.

Iron leaves spots

on garments.

• Before use, there

is water left in the

water reservoir (12).

Leftover water may

stain garments and the

soleplate (15).

• Scale has built up inside

the water reservoir (12).

• Always empty the water

reservoir (12) after each

use.

• Rinse the water

reservoir (12) periodically.
