RT-91685SL FIBER CONNECTIONS

The fiber optic connection to the user’s infrastructure is made via a SC connector located on the
back at the bottom of the RT-CDWM-4 unit. Be sure to allow sufficient room for the required
minimum bend radius of the fiber cable used. SC patchcords are supplied for the intra-fiber
connections between the RT-CDWM-4 and each of the 980 series and 482 series units. The
wavelength listed for each port on the RT-CDWM-4 must correlate with the wavelength listed on
the 980 series unit to which that port is attached. The top port of the RT-482-1470/1490
connects to the 1470nm port on the RT-CDWM-4. The bottom port of the RT-482-1470/1490
connects to the 1490nm port on the RT-CDWM-4. Follow the drawing below for the proper
connections of the fiber patchcords.

RR-91685SL FIBER CONNECTIONS

The fiber optic connections on the RR-91685SL are similar to those for the RT-91685SL with
the exception of the RR-482-1470/1490 data card.
On the RR-482-1470/1490, the bottom
port connects to the 1470nm port on the RR-CWDM-4. The top port of the RR-482-1470/1490
connects to the 1490nm port on the RR-CWDM-4. Follow the drawing below for the proper
connections of the fiber patchcords.
