CALIBRATION

The meter has been factory calibrated. Annual calibration
is recommended for best results. Calibrate the instrument
before use if the meter was not used for one month or
longer or was operated in an undesirable environment (high
temperature and/or humidity, heavy dust).

1. Prepare for calibration by setting up the meter as

follows:

Frequency scale: A

Time weighting: FAST

Measurement mode: Disable Min/Max function.

Level range: 30 ~ 130 dB

2. Insert the microphone housing carefully into the insertion

hole of the acoustical calibrator.

3. Switch the calibrator to emit 94.0 dB. Turn the calibrator

on. Using the calibration tool, adjust the CAL
potentiometer on the meter until the LCD displays 94.0
dB.
