2. Insert an allen screw and lock washer into each
hole.
3. Place a locking nut onto the allen screw.
Tighten screws using an allen wrench and
wrench (Fig. 4-C & 4-D).
DO NOT over tighten.
Frame Assembly
Materials:
• Hardware Packet B
• Parts H, I (2 ea.)
• 7/16” wrench
• 1/4” allen wrench
NOTE: The frame assembly consists of distinct
left and right posts for both the head and foot of
the bed frame. Each post is labeled with a letter
for easy assembly. Reference the Posey Bed frame
location to assist with assembly (Fig. 4-A)
Frame assembly requires two
people to provide stability and to help prevent
injury.
NOTE: Use the control pad to elevate the head
and knee portion of the frame for easier assembly.
Head Posts
1. Align the head posts (Parts H & I) with the holes
on the frame located at the head of the bed.
NOTE: Make sure the holes on the posts face
inward and towards the center (Fig. 4-B).
Foot Posts
1. Align the foot posts (Parts H & I) with the holes
on the frame located on the foot of the bed.
NOTE: Make sure the holes on the posts face
inward and towards the center (Fig. 4-E).
2. Insert an allen screw and lock washer into each
hole.
3. Place a locking nut onto the allen screw.
Tighten screws using an allen wrench and
wrench (Fig. 4-F & 4-G).
DO NOT over tighten.
