MAIN SCREEN
The main screen is the ‘Voice call – Group mode’ screen. The terminal is ready for you to
press PTT (Press-to-talk) and launch the call directly to the selected group.
As shown in the following figure, the basic information displayed on the main screen
consists of the folder or range the selected group belongs to, the name of the group, and
its status.
From the main screen, you can access a number of basic functions:
• Soft key 1: Access to the main menu.
• Soft key 2: Access to the phonebook (contacts list).
• Arrows: Navigate through the list of groups.
• Green key: Quick access to the last dialled calls.
• Numeric keypad: Dialling of the destination number for an individual call.
Your service supplier may configure other keys to quickly access specific functions. For
example:
• Access to favourite menu screens.
• Sending of specific events (status messages, voice calls, etc…)
• Immediate actions (selection of preferred group, deactivation of some functions,
etc…)
