USE OF AUDIO ACCESSORIES
When you connect audio accessories to the side connector, the TK-T300/G automatically
recognises them and, according to the accessory connected, modifies the use of the
terminal:
Connection with the equipment
1. Connect the audio accessory connector plug into the side connector socket.
2. Screw the accessory in place by hand to ensure the lines into the audio accessory
connector are suitably secured and attached to the radio (do not force the thread of
the connector!).
3. Speak clearly into the microphone approximately 2.5cm away from it, taking care not
to obstruct it with your hand. Operation of soft keys will depend on your customisation.
Warning
1. Do not use the audio accessory in the way depicted below. Always guide the cable up
above the terminal.
2. Do not cause high levels of strain between the cable, the grommet protector and the
left side connector. This excessive strain can significantly reduce the lifespan of the
product, void the warranty and potentially cause damage to the hand-portable unit.
