The Camcorder : Playback
Playing Back a Recorded Tape
✤ The tape playback functions work only in PLAY mode.
✤ It is handy and practical to view a tape using the LCD monitor almost anywhere (i.e. in a car, indoors, or outdoors).
✤ To display a recorded tape on a TV, the television set needs to comply with the Colour System (NTSC/PAL).
✤ It is recommended to use the AC Power Adapter and Cable as the power source for the camcorder.
For instructions on connecting the AC Power Adapter and Cable to your camcorder, refer to page 27.
✤ Refer to page 145 for instructions on connecting your Camcorder to a TV set.
1. Connect a power source and set the Power Switch to PLAY mode.
2. Insert the tape you wish to play back.
3. Using the
(FF) button or (REW) buttons, find the first position you wish to play back.
4. Press the (PLAY/STILL) button.
The images you recorded will appear on the TV after a few seconds.
If a tape reaches its end while being played back, the tape will rewind automatically.
✤ The playback mode (SP/LP) is automatically selected.
