Recording videos
Your camcorder uses advanced H.264 compression technology to
give you the clearest video quality.
1. Open the LCD screen and press the Power ( ) button to turn
on the camcorder.
Set the lens cover open/close switch to open ( ). page 11
2. Press the Recording start/stop button.
To stop recording, press the Recording start/stop button.

Recording photos
Your camcorder can record high quality photos with a 4:3 or 16:9
aspect ratio.
1. Open the LCD screen and press the Power ( ) button to turn
on the camcorder.

2. Fully press the PHOTO button when the subject is in focus.

You can record videos in SD (standard definition) quality. The default setting is “TV Fine 20x6(0i).”  page 47
You cannot take photos while you are recording videos.
