• Data Until Powered Off — Your phone accepts data connections

until you turn off your phone.

Select the desired data setting.

Phone Settings

Airplane Mode

When set to On, Airplane Mode disables all radio functions of
your phone. This prevents you from making or receiving calls, but
allows you to use other features (such as the camera and the
Tools) safely in sensitive environments, such as on board an
aircraft.

From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings

Airplane

Mode.

The following options appear in the display:

• On — Disables the radio transmitter and receiver and the Bluetooth

interface in your phone.

Tip: If you need to make an emergency call with Airplane mode enabled, just

dial the emergency number and press

.

• Off — Enables the radio transmitter and receiver in your phone.

To return to the Phone Settings menu, press

.

Select the desired option. You are prompted to confirm

your setting change.

Press Yes to change to the new setting.

Press No to discard the change and keep the original setting.

Note: If you press Yes, you are returned to standby mode, and the Airplane

Mode icon (

) appears in the display. If you press No, the Airplane

Mode screen remains in the display.

Language

The Language option changes the language of menus, sub-
menus, and other user-interface features.

From the Settings menu, select Phone Settings

Language.

The following options appear in the display:

• English

• Español

2.

Select your language preference.

Security

Use the Security sub-menu to lock your phone, set up emergency
numbers, enable or disable voice privacy, set restrictions, and
other security options.

To access the Security menu, do the following:
