High resolution and picture quality increases fi le saving time, 
which increases stand-by time.

If you select the [Continuous], [High-speed], [Motion Capture], or 
[AEB] sub menu, the camera turns the fl ash off automatically.
å
If the memory has space for less than 3 pictures, the AEB 
shooting is not available.
å
It is best to use a tripod for the AEB shooting. The time the camera 
takes to save each image fi le is longer and blurring caused by 
camera shake may occur.
Setting AEB Exposure Ranges (AEB Area)
You can set exposure ranges and intervals for the three AEB mode 
photos.
- Set a standard for the exposure bracket
by pressing the LEFT/RIGHT buttons.
- Set a range for the left and right exposure
bracket by using the Smart Dial.
Auto Focus type
You can select your preferred Focus Area according to the shooting 
conditions.
[Center AF] (
) : The camera focuses using
the rectangular area in the 
center of the LCD screen.
[Multi AF] (
) : The camera focuses by
selecting all the available AF 
points from the 9 AF points.
[Selection AF] (
) : Focus on a desired position on the LCD screen.
[Tracking AF] (
) : The focus moves along with the movements of a
subject.
Ä When the camera focuses on a subject, the auto focus frame turns
green. When the camera doesn't focus on the subject, the auto 
focus frame turns red.
Ŷ How to Enable Selection AF
1.
After setting [Selection AF], press the OK 
button. The screen for setting the location 
of a focus frame will appear.
2.
Press the Up/Down/Left/Right button to 
move the focus mark to the desired position.
3.
Press the shutter button to enable Selection 
AF. Once setting is complete, the focus 
mark will be fi xed at the position you set.
