Files
• The Memory card option appears only if a microSD card has been previously
installed into the internal slot below the battery. For more information, refer to
"Inserting the Memory Card" on page 7.
• To be accessible Music must be stored into the Music folder on the memory card
2. Highlight the Music folder and press the key.
3. Highlight a music file and press the Options soft key to choose from the
following options:
• Play: allows you to play the selected audio file on the phone.
• Set as: allows you to set the selected audio as a default Ringtone, Caller
ringtone, or Alarm tone.
• Delete: allows you to delete either the selected audio file or multiple files.
• Move to memory card: moves the selected audio file to the memory card.
• Copy to memory card: copies the selected audio file to the memory card.
• Rename: allows you to rename the selected audio file.
• Lock/Unlock: allows you to lock the audio file to protect it from deletion, or
unlock an already locked audio file.
• Properties: displays the Name, Date, Format, Bit rate, Length, Size, and Lock/
Unlock status of the selected music file.
Other files
This option allows you to view other types of files that you have stored on your
phone. This includes Excel spreadsheets, text files, wmf files, PowerPoint
presentations, PDFs, MHTML and Word documents. You can send these files by
picture message. You can also move or copy the files to your memory card.
Memory card
You can check the contents of your microSD memory card and see what was saved
there.
1. Press the Up or Down navigation keys to scroll between Images, Videos,
Music, Sounds, and Other files.
Note: The Memory card option only displays if a microSD memory card was pre-inserted in your phone.
2. After selecting a folder, press the Options soft key for the following
options:
• Open: allows you to open the folder so you can access its contents.
• Create folder: allows you to create a new folder.
• Properties: lists the Name, Size, Contains, Created Time, and Last modified
time.
