Player Settings
• Open playlist: allows you to display either your current playlist or a user-
defined My playlist. For more information, refer to "Adding Music to a Playlist"
on page 142.
• Settings: allows you to configure the media player settings. For more
information, refer to "Player Settings" on page 140.
• Shortcuts: displays the music player shotcuts. For more information, refer to
"Music Player Shortcut Keys" on page 141.
Player Settings
The Player settings menu configures your phone’s music playing options such as
Repeat mode, Shuffle, or Visualization. Settings for the Music menu determine the
order in which music is presented for the selected music category.
1. In Idle mode, press the Menu soft key to access Menu mode.
2. Using the Navigation keys, scroll to the Fun & Apps icon. Press the Select
soft key or the key to enter the menu.
3. Highlight the Music player option and press the Select soft key or the
key.
4. Press the Options soft key, select Settings, then press either the Select
soft key or the key.
5. Highlight the Visualization option and then use the Right Navigation key
to cycle through the available music player background visual effects:
Type 1 or Type 2.
6. Highlight the Volume option and then use the Right Navigation key to
choose a playback volume level.
7. Press the Save soft key to store the category selections and return to the
previous Settings menu.
