2. Select one of the following options:
• Background image: Set a pattern or image to use as the
background for your custom theme.
• Background overlay: Set a custom color for this main background
area of the display.
• Title background: Set a custom color for the area behind the
screen title.
• Softkey background: Set a custom color for the area behind the
softkeys.
• Pop-up background: Set a custom color for pop-up messages.
• List focus: Set a custom color for highlighting an item in a list.
3. Adjust the settings for your custom theme as desired.
Press the Next or Previous soft keys to scroll between the
different options.
4. Enter a name for your custom theme (optional) then press
the Save soft key to save your custom theme.
5. A prompt will display and ask if you want to apply the new
theme to your phone. Press the Yes soft key to apply the
new theme, press the No soft key to cancel.
Time & Date
This menu allows you to change the current time and date
displayed. You can also find out what time it is in another part of
the world.
1. In Idle mode, press Menu ➔ Settings ➔ Time & Date and
press the Select soft key or the key. The following
options are available. Use the Navigation keys to scroll and
set options:
• Time Zone Updating: allows you to select whether the time zone
information is updated: Automatic (which greys-out some of the
other options), Manual Only, or Prompt First.
• Time Zone: allows you to assign your current time zone based on
Greenwich Mean Time. Major cities in each zone display upon
selection. Press the Change
key, and use the Left or Right
Navigation key to select a new zone. If you want the phone to
automatically adjust to Daylight Saving time, highlight the check box
and press the Check
key. Press the Save soft key to save the
new selection.
Tip: You can also choose to activate Daylight Savings Time within the Home
Zone menu option.
• Time: allows you to enter the current time using your keypad. Press
the Right Navigation key to select AM or PM. Press the Save soft
key or the
key to confirm the selection.
