Settings
Automatic – This profile automatically switches between the
normal and meeting profile when the calendar indicates that
the current time is busy.
Headset – This profile is automatically activated when a
headset is plugged in to the phone.
Speakerphone – This profile is used when your phone is being
used as a speaker phone. All settings have been optimized
for that environment.
To select a profile for your phone, follow these steps:
1. At the Home Screen, press the left soft key ( ) Start ,
then press until Settings is highlighted.
2. Press , then use the navigation key to highlight
Settings .
3. Press , then press until Profiles is highlighted.
4. Press , then press or to highlight a profile.
Headset
and
Speakerphone
profiles cannot be selected
directly. These options are selected automatically when you
plug in a headset or use the speakerphone option.
5. Once a profile is highlighted, press the left soft key ( )
Done to activate the profile.
When a profile is highlighted, you can also press the right
soft key (
)
Menu
to display a pop-up menu from which you
can choose more options such as
Edit
,
Select
,
Cancel
, or
Reset to default
. See the following section entitled “Edit a
profile” for information on how to edit profiles.
