Certificates

Digital certificates are used to protect transactions over the
Internet and allow your Smartphone to establish a secure
connection. A digital certificate contains identifying
information about the certificate holder, the name of the
certificate authority that issued the certificate, and a public
key for encryption (PKI), which is used to secure documents
being sent to a recipient.

The Certificates sub-menu allows you to manage the
certificates installed on your phone in the Personal and Root
directories. Personal certificates positively identify you to
others, while root certificates positively identify the certificate
authorities who issue digital certificates.
