Entering Numbers
Enter numbers into a text message while in number mode
(123). See “Changing the text entry mode” for instructions
on changing text entry modes.
• While in 123 mode, press the key containing the corresponding
number that you wish to insert into your message.
Using T9 Mode
T9 Word recognizes commonly used words for the
numeric sequence of keypresses and inserts the word into
your message. It’s much faster than the traditional
method of text entry (Abc) and requires only one key press
per letter of the word that you’re spelling.
1. In standby mode,press the center select key ( )
Menu, then press , to compose a new text
message.
2. Enter the phone number of the recipient, then press
.
3. Press the left soft key ( ) Option to display a pop-up
menu containing the following options
• ABC
• Text Format
• Add Media
• Quick Text
4. ABC is highlighted. Use the navigation left/right keys to
display T9 Word, then press .
