3. Press to open the highlighted folder. You’re
prompted to confirm the erasure of all messages in the
folder.
4. Use the navigation key to highlight Yes or No, then
press .
Retrieveing New Messages
When you receive a message in standby mode, the ringer
sounds, (unless turned off), and New Message appears in
the display along with the closed envelope icon (
). The
date and time of the message also appear in the display.
• Press the left soft key ( ) Ignore to return your phone to
standby mode. The message is saved to your inbox where you
can view it later.
• Press the right soft key ( ) View to open the message, where
you have the option to Reply, Forward, Erase, Save Text,
Save Msg, Save Contact, or block sender.
Retrieve messages while in a call
When you receive a message while in a call, New Message
appears in the display along with the closed envelope icon
(
). To view the message without disconnecting the call:
• Press the left soft key ( ) Ignore to ignore the message and
save it to your inbox where you can view it later.
• Press the right soft key ( ) View to open the message, your
call remains connected.
