Trap Managers
The following figure and table describe how to specify management
stations that will receive authentication failure messages or other trap
messages from the switch. Up to 5 trap managers may be entered.
Purpose Community String Privileges
General access public Read Only

administrators private Read/Write

management netman Read/Write
Parameter Description
Trap Manager IP Address IP address of the trap manager.
Trap Manager A community specified in the SNMP
Communities table.
Add/Remove Add/remove strings from the active list.
Enable Authentication
Traps Issue a trap message to specified IP trap
managers whenever authentication of an
SNMP request fails. (The default is
enabled.)
