Activating the BOOTP and DHCP Services
For background information on BOOTP and DHCP, refer to the section
Activating the BOOTP and DHCP Services on page 37.
To activate or deactivate the BOOTP and DHCP protocols on the switch
from a web browser management session, perform the following
procedure:
1. From the Home Page, select Configuration.
The Configuration window is displayed with the System option
selected by default.
2. If the System option is not selected, select it and then select the
General tab.
The General Tab window is displayed, as shown in Figure 54 on
page 178.
3. In the BOOTP/DHCP options in the General tab window, click either
Enable or Disable.
4. Reset the switch. You cannot reset a switch from a web browser
management session. You can reset a switch from a local or a Telnet
session, or by using the Reset button on the switch.
