INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
** Installation recommendation: JBA recommends in most case that the vehicle be taken to a reputable exhaust shop for installation.

Recommended Tools: Parts List Qty.
15mm socket A. Intermediate pipe with notch 1
9/16 deep socket B. Muffler 1
Pliers C. Tail pipe 1
Spray Lubricant D. 3“ Clamp 2 B

Start:
1. Remove and check inventory
for your new JBA exhaust system.
2. Disconnect negative battery
cable and allow vehicle to cool.
NOTES:
1. All exhaust systems expand
about 1” rearward when exhaust
temperature rises.
3. Use anti-seize on threads of
clamps.
7. Loosen clamp at front of muffler
assembly.
12. Secure clamp.
17. Install new tailpipe follwing same
path as original.
3. Cut tailpipe at rear of muffler.
8. Release retainer clip.

13. Slip clamp onto int. pipe.
18. Insert rear hanger.
4. Separate rubber hanger from
tailpipe bracket.
9. Remove muffler assembly.
14. Install muffler with center inlet,
and outlet to right side.
19. Slip into muffler.
10. Slip clamp onto exhaust pipe.
20. Attach upper hanger.
15. Align muffler to be flat, and pipe
fully inserted. Secure clamp.
5. Remove hanger from rubber
isolator.
11. Install intermediate pipe. Align
notch pipe.
21. Align tailpipe, secure clamp. Tack
weld slip joints.
16. Slip clamp over muffler outlet.
6. Remove tailpipe assembly.
JBA recommends taking the vehicle to a muffler shop and having all slip connections tack welded. 01.08.08
