To View a Description (Help Display) of Each Scene

Select a scene and move the zoom control (

A1) toward g (j) to view a

description of that scene. To return to the original screen, move the zoom
control toward

g (j) again.

Tips and Notes

When you point the camera at the subject, the camera automatically selects

the optimum scene mode from the list below and adjusts the shooting
settings accordingly.

The focus area depends on the composition of the image. When the camera

detects a human face, it focuses on that face (

A69).

In some shooting conditions, the camera may not select the appropriate

scene mode that you intended. If this happens, switch to A (auto) mode or
select the scene mode that you want to use when taking images (

A22).
