Since the data is recalled from the preset
memory about the following signals, you
can use these preset data by adjusting “H
Size.” Make fine adjustment by adjusting
“Shift.”

When the aspect ratio of input signal is other
than 4:3, a part of the screen is displayed in
black.

The SET SETTING
Menu

The SET SETTING menu is used for
changing the settings of the projector.

Smart APA

Activates or deactivates the Smart APA

On: Normally select this setting. When a

signal is input from a computer, the APA
functions automatically so that the
picture can be seen clearly. Once the
specified input signal has been adjusted
by the Smart APA, it will not be
readjusted even when the cable is
disconnected and connected again or the
input channel is changed. You can adjust
the picture by pressing APA key on the
Remote Commander even if the Smart
APA set to “On.”

Off: The APA functions when you press the

APA key on the Remote Commander.

1) The APA (Auto Pixel Alignment)

automatically adjusts “Dot Phase,” “H Size”
and “Shift” in the INPUT SETTING menu
for the input signal from a computer.

Auto Input Search

Normally set to “Off.”
When set to “On,” the projector detects input
signals in the following order: Input-A/
MS(VPL-CX6 only)/Video/S-Video. It
indicates the input channel when the power
is turned on or the INPUT key is pressed.
