Playing music: The CLIÉ handheld is placed on the cradle,
but SonicStage 1.5 does not recognize the CLIÉ handheld
• Set to the music transfer mode.
b For details, refer to “Audio Player” in “CLIÉ Application Manual” on your
computer.
• Other applications are starting on your computer.
After a while, place your CLIÉ handheld on the cradle again. If this does not
solve the problem, restart the computer.
You cannot connect to the Internet
• Follow the steps mentioned in “Customizing your Sony CLIÉ Handheld:
Changing the Network preferences” in “Handbook” and verify the settings
of
Network Preferences .
• Check the connection between your CLIÉ handheld and the network card.
You cannot send or receive e-mail messages
• Follow the steps listed in “CLIE Mail” in “CLIÉ Applications Manual.”
Verify the mail server settings to see if your user name and password are
correct.
• If you cannot send an e-mail message, verify the e-mail address where you
are sending e-mail.
