Parts and Controls on the Docking Station

Connecting a docking station (supplied or optional) to your VAIO computer enables you to
use many peripheral devices with the computer.
You can keep the devices, such as an AC adapter and a USB printer, connected to the
docking station to save you connecting them each time you intend to use.

5. Power indicator

The indicator light is on in situations, such as when the docking station is connected to
your VAIO computer and while data access to a disc, such as a CD and DVD, is in
progress.
The indicator light turns on in green when the docking station is connected to the
computer, blinks in orange while the computer is in Sleep mode, and blinks in yellow
while data access to the optical disc drive is in progress.
