Performing the HotSync

Tap [Select Service] beneath the icon.
The
Preferences
screen for [Network] is displayed.

Tap [
V
Service:], and select [Wireless LAN] from the drop-
down list.

Tap [Done].
Tip
You do not have to enter a Telephone No. into [####].
Performing the HotSync
®
operation via a network
You can perform the HotSync
®
operation via a network when you have
prepared your computer settings, CLIÉ handheld settings, and Conduit Setup.
Note
In the
HotSync
screen of your CLIÉ handheld, tap [Primary PC Setup…] from
[Options] to display the
Primary PC Setup
screen. You need to enter “!!” for
[Primary PC Name:]. If a computer name is already entered, delete that name and
enter “!!”, otherwise you cannot perform the HotSync
®
operation.

Tap
(Home).
Tap [Applica…] when using
CLIE Organizer
.

Tap
(HotSync).
The
HotSync
screen is displayed.

Tap
(HotSync).
The HotSync
®
operation starts.
A message will be displayed when the HotSync
®
operation is complete.
