2 Restart the notebook by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Delete simultaneously and
then selecting Restart from the drop-down list.
Why does the System Properties dialog box display a slower CPU speed than
advertised?
❑ Your computer uses CPU speed-controlling technology. The System
Properties dialog box may display the CPU’s current speed rather than the
maximum speed.
