Loading a tape

Press Z PUSH.

Load a recorded/recordable tape into
the cassette holder.
Playing a tape
You can use Type I (normal) tape.

Load a recorded tape into the cassette
holder.

Press FUNCTION repeatedly until
“TAPE” appears in the display.

Press DIRECTION (or DIR MODE on the
remote) repeatedly to select “
” to
play one side of the tape, “ ” to play
both sides, or “ ”* to play both
sides repeatedly.
* The tape automatically stops after playing back
five times.

Press TAPE nN.
Press TAPE nN again to play the
reverse side. The tape starts playing back.
With the side you
want to play/record
facing up

Fast-forward or
rewind
Remove the tape
Do this
Press x.
Press TAPE X (or X on the
remote). Press again to
resume playback.
With the tape stopped, press
m/M.
