Batteries/power sources

The power abruptly turns off.

Use the AC Adaptor (sold separately).

In the default setting, the camcorder turns itself off when no operations are
performed for about 5 minutes ([Power Save]). Change the setting of [Power
Save], or turn on the power again.

Charge the battery pack.

[Details]

The CHG (charge) lamp does not light while the battery

pack is being charged.

Attach the battery pack to the camcorder correctly.

When using an AC Adaptor (sold separately), connect the plug to the wall outlet
(wall socket) properly.

Connect the USB cable (supplied) properly when charging the battery pack using
a computer.

The battery charge is completed.

[Details]

The CHG (charge) lamp flashes while the battery pack is

being charged.

When the battery is being charged using the USB cable (supplied), disconnect
the USB cable (supplied) and connect it again.

If the temperature of the battery pack is too high or too low, you may not be able
to charge it.

Attach the battery pack to the camcorder correctly. If the problem persists,
disconnect the plug from the camcorder and contact your Sony dealer. The
battery pack may be damaged.

The remaining battery power is not displayed correctly.

The ambient temperature is too high or too low. This is not a malfunction.

The battery pack has not been charged enough. Fully charge the battery again. If
the problem persists, replace the battery pack with a new one.

The indicated remaining battery power may not be correct depending on the
environment in which the camcorder is used.
