3 Insert the the PC Card gently into the slot. Make sure the front label of the
PC Card is facing up. The PC Card is automatically detected by your system.
The
Unplug or Eject Hardware icon appears in the taskbar.
To remove a PC Card
The following procedure describes how to remove the PC Card while the
notebook is on. If you want to remove the PC Card while the notebook is off,
perform steps 4, 6, and 7 below.

Do not force a PC Card into the slot as this may damage the connector pins.
Do not carry your notebook while touching the head of a PC Card (such as a
wireless LAN card), as pressure or shock may damage the connector pins.
