7. Lay your IntelliWarmth mattress pad flat over the bed with the mattress pad
connector positioned at the head of the bed and the label facing up. Tuck the skirt
of the warming mattress pad under all four sides of your mattress for a snug fit.
CAUTION: Only the skirt should be tucked under. The heated portion of the
mattress pad must lie flat on the top of the bed.
Your IntelliWarmth mattress pad
should not be folded during use. Make your bed as you usually do, but NEVER
add another warming mattress pad or warming blanket.
8. Grip the (3-pin) connector coming from the
mattress pad and insert the (3-hole) plug coming
from the controller.
Make sure these
connections are snug.
9. Route the controller cord to an electrical outlet and Do not route cord under
mattress or between mattress and box spring.
10. Make sure the controller switch is in the “0” position before plugging it into the wall
outlet.
11 Plug the controller cord into a 110-120V outlet. IMPORTANT: this mattress pad
has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). As a safety feature, this
plug will fit a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the
outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
12. Turn the controller switch to any numerical setting to turn it ON.
The numerical indicator light should come on.
13. Turn the dial to your desired heat setting. You may need to
re-adjust your settings if the ambient temperature in the room
changes: higher settings for colder rooms. The mattress pad automatically boosts
power for fast warm-up in the first one-half hour. After 1 hour, settings
5 & 6 automatically reduce to setting 4 for an all night comfortable sleep setting.
14. Your IntelliWarmth mattress pad will turn off automatically after 10 hours or after
a power outage. The numerical indicator light will flash when the mattress pad
has been turned off automatically. This is a reminder to turn off the mattress pad
by turning the numerical indicator to “0” and then turning it back to a numerical
setting to turn it on. You will hear a click when the dial is turned to “0” and when it
is turned back to a number above 0.
To restart your mattress pad, always turn your mattress pad controller to “0”, make
sure the mattress pad is laying flat on the bed, and wait at least 10 seconds. Then,
switch the controller to a number above “0” and adjust the temperature dial to your
desired setting. If mattress pad fails to restart – see section titled “Troubleshooting
Instructions”.
IMPORTANT REMINDERS:
1. Before plugging in your mattress pad, make sure the controller is set to the “0”
position.
2. Always plug the controller into the mattress pad first, then, plug the controller into
the wall outlet.
DEFLATION AND STORAGE
1. To disconnect Intelliwarmth Mattress Pad, switch the controller to
“0”, unplug the controller from the wall outlet, then disconnect the
controller from the mattress pad.
2. To deflate the AeroBed, press the deflate button on the control
wand. Deflation takes approximately 60 seconds.
3. Roll or fold the AC cord with wand controller and secure it. Fold sides of bed into
the center along its length. Tightly roll your AeroBed around the pump. When the
bed is completely rolled, place it into the lightweight duffle bag for storage.
4. Store your AeroBed in a clean dry place at room temperature (above 50°F/10° C).
Storing your AeroBed under 50° F (10° C) and over 100° F (38° C) may affect its
performance and will not be covered under warranty.
NOTE: Bed must be at room temperature prior to inflating or it may cause
air leaks.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
1. Inspect your AeroBed prior to each use.
2. Keep your AeroBed away from any sharp objects. Large cuts or snags may not
be repairable and will not be covered by your warranty.
3. When not in use, store your AeroBed in a clean, dry place out of extreme
temperatures. Product must be at room temperature prior to inflating.
4. Do not store your AeroBed folded inside sofa beds or roll-aways. This may cause
damage to your bed that will not be covered under your warranty.
5. In case of incidental damage to your bed, a repair kit has been included. Please
follow repair instructions carefully.
6. Intelliwarmth Mattress Pad Controller care:
• Keep controller dry - do not spill beverages and liquids on the controller.
• Do not locate controller where exposed to rain, direct sunlight, space heaters
or other heat sources. The controller may be damaged by excessive heat.
• Note: the controller may feel slightly warm – this is normal.
