1 General description

CAUTION: Keep fingers clear when
operating door.

The SI19 mini incubator has been specially
designed for accurate temperature controlled life
science applications. The stainless steel chamber
features 4 shelves which are easy to slide in and
out or quick loading and unloading.

The SI30H Hybridisation incubator /shaker
features advanced temperature controlled forced
air circulation with clear bright LED digital
temperature display. The unit comes complete
with a seven bottle rotisserie which rotates on
guided rollers. Rotation speed is variable between
2 and 10 rpm. A platform is fitted to the back of
the incubator which drops forward to form a
rocking shaker with variable speed of 10 to 50
oscillations per minute. A rotisserie for two

70mm diameter bottles is available as well as a
range of specially designed Pyrex

®

hybridisation

bottles.

2 Preparation for use

2.1 Remove all packaging and place the

incubator on a level working surface,
ensuring that there is sufficient room above
the instrument to allow the door to be
opened fully.

2.2 Leave the unit to stand for a minimum of 3

hours. This will allow acclimation to the new
ambient temperature.

2.3 Follow the instructions for Electrical

Installation given in section 8 of this manual
and connect the instrument to the electricity
supply.

2.4 Connect the power cable to a suitably

grounded electrical outlet. The correct
operating voltage of the incubator is found
on the product information label on the rear
of the instrument.

2.5 Turn the Mains ON/OFF switch located at the

back of the unit ON.

2.6 The incubator is now ready for use.

3 Temperature setting

(model SI19 & SI30H)

3.1 The incubator temperature controls are

located on the right hand side of the control
panel (number 4 to 7 in figure 3).
