Installation
■ When connecting the instrument, the process lines must be free of
pressure.
■ Observe the suitability of the instrument for the media to be
measured
■ Observe maximum pressures
Electrical connection
The instruments are designed to operate with safety extra-low voltage
(SELV). When wiring up the instruments, the technical specifications
for those instruments should be followed. In the case of a sensor with
transmitter, as a rule, the transmitter should be operated in the middle of
the measuring range, since deviations can occur at the range limits.
■ The ambient temperature of the transmitter electronics
should be kept constant.
■ Current/voltage spikes from switching the power supply
on or off must be prevented by the customer.
Current consumption
35 mA + switch (7 mA each) + instrument with automatic zero
adjustment (20 mA)
0 … 10 V output (10 mA), max. 80 mA
5.2 Packaging
Do not remove packaging until just before mounting.
Keep the packaging as it will provide optimum protection during transport
(e.g. change in installation site, sending for repair).
5.3 Storage
Permissible conditions at the place of storage
Storage temperature: -20 ... +70 °C
Protect the instruments from moisture and dust.
