6.10.1

De-Emphasis Control (PX_DEM1:0)

Default = 00
00 - Disabled
01 - 44.1 kHz
10 - 48 kHz
11 - 32 kHz

Function:

Selects the appropriate digital filter to maintain the standard 15

μs/50 μs digital de-emphasis filter re-

sponse at 32, 44.1 or 48 kHz sample rates. (see

Figure 16

)

De-emphasis is only available in Single-Speed Mode.

ATAPI Channel Mixing and Muting (ATAPI)

Default = 01001 - AOUTAx=aL, AOUTBx=bR (Stereo)

Function:

The CS4365 implements the channel-mixing functions of the ATAPI CD-ROM specification. The ATAPI
functions are applied per A-B pair. Refer to

Table 9

and

Figure 17

for additional information.
