Before servicing the tablet
Disabling the built-in battery
Before replacing any FRU, ensure that you have disabled the built-in battery.
To disable the built-in battery, press the emergency-reset button in the emergency-reset hole using a
straightened paper clip.
Removing the SIM card
Some models might have the SIM card that the customer has installed. If the tablet you are servicing has the
SIM card, remove it before you start the servicing.

Note: After you finish the servicing, ensure that you insert the card back into the slot firmly.
