Attention:
• Do not touch the contact edge of the memory module. Otherwise the memory module might be
damaged.
• If only one memory module is installed into your computer, ensure that you install the memory module
into the slot used in the following illustration. Otherwise your computer cannot work normally.
7. Attach the cover 1 and pivot it downward 2 . Then tighten the screws 3 .
8. Reinstall the battery. See “Replacing the battery” on page 61.
9. Turn the computer over again. Connect the ac power adapter and all cables.

During electrical storms, do not connect the cable to or disconnect it from the telephone outlet
on the wall.
