TROUBLESHOOTING
Before calling customer service, many potential issues can be resolved by
following these helpful hints.
Problem Potential Causes Solution
The induction cooktop
will not turn on.
Cookware is not placed
correctly on the induction
cooktop.
The induction cooktop will
not power on unless
induction compatible
cookware is in place
within the COOKWARE
CIRCLE on the GLASS
COOKTOP.
The cooktop is not able
to maintain a boil or is
heating slowly.
Improper cookware is
being used.
Use cookware that is
recommended for
induction. See “Selecting
the Right Cookware” on
page 4 for advice.
Scratches appear on
the GLASS COOKTOP
surface.
Incorrect cleaning
methods may have
been used.
Following the cleaning
methods
recommended in “How
To Clean” on page 7.
Cookware with a rough
bottom was used, or
coarse particles (such
as salt) were between
the cookware and the
GLASS COOKTOP.
To avoid scratches,
check that the bottom
of cookware is clean
and smooth before
placing it onto the
induction cooktop.
Cookware has been
slid across the GLASS
COOKTOP.
Never slide cookware
across the GLASS
COOKTOP. Always lift
cookware to remove it
from the induction
cooktop.
Areas of discoloration
appear on the
induction cooktop.
Food spilled on the
induction cooktop was
not properly cleaned.
Be sure to clean any spills
on the GLASS COOKTOP
after every use. Follow the
instructions in “How To
Clean” on page 7.
An error code of E3 or
E6 appears on the
DIGITAL DISPLAY.
The induction cooktop
may have reached a
temperature that is too
high.
Allow the cooktop to cool
down completely. Follow
the steps in “To Cook With
Induction” on page 5
once it is cool.
An error code of E7 or E8
appears on the DIGITAL
DISPLAY.
There may be an issue
with the power being
supplied to the induction
cooktop.
Unplug the induction
cooktop and try a
different power outlet. If
the problem persists,
contact Aroma ® customer
service.

fondos o bases toscas, y
particulas ásperas como la
sal, se encontró entre los
utensilios y el cristal de la
estufa.
Para evitar rasguños,
verifique que el fondo de
los utensilios o sarten es
estén limpios y suaves
antes de ponerlos arriba
de la estufa de inducción.
Se han deslizado utensilios
o sartenes sobre la
superficie del cristal de la
estufa.
Nunca deslice o resbale
utensilios a lo largo del
cristal de la estufa.
Siempre levántelos.
Han aparecido areas con
